For families who love adventure and are looking for a way to get the whole family to do something together, we have many whitewater rafting options. These trips are designed for families with children as young as 5! You can go for a half-day, whole day, or even make it a weekend getaway. If you want excitement, wilderness, and to really get away from it all, you have to come experience what Cherokee Adventures has to offer!!! The trips can provide time for you to stop, swim & play! There will be dirt, sand, grit, no motors, and lots of paddling! Some trips do include a lunch! For families with children ages 5 to 12, you can enjoy the Lower Nolichucky whitewater rafting trip. The Lower Nolichucky is mild in nature and provides you with a fun family float trip. For families with children 12 and up, you can still enjoy the Lower Nolichucky, but you can also brave the Upper Nolichucky with its class III - IV rapids. Your older children who are aspiring for their independence are sure to enjoy our Funyaks! Whatever option you choose, you are guaranteed an experience of a lifetime.
